Patricia Verduin
Verduin served as chief technology officer for Colgate-Palmolive Company, a NYSE-listed multinational consumer products company specializing in producing, distributing, and providing household, health care, personal care, and veterinary products from 2009 to 2023. While at Colgate-Palmolive, she led global research and development, as well as product safety, quality, regulatory and product sustainability. In addition, Verduin served in numerous leadership and scientific roles with Conagra, Nabisco and the Grocery Manufacturers Association.
Currently, Verduin serves as a director of Avient Corporation, a global manufacturer of specialized polymer materials and is a director of the Breakthrough Alliance, a not-for-profit organization focused on improving health outcomes and care delivery through verified emerging technologies. Previously, she was a director of the Monsanto Company, an agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation, prior to its acquisition by Bayer AG.
Verduin holds a PhD in food science from Rutgers University, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a bachelor of science degree in food science from the University of Delaware.
